Name: Historical/Genealogical Research Made Fun
Date: November 14, 2017
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST
Event Description:

Tuesdays, Nov 7-21, 2017

Do you have old family photographs you would like to date? Or maybe you have a photograph that is already dated but you would like to know more about it? Do you own an old house or building and would like to know when it was constructed? Maybe you would like to know who lived in it and determine what events may have happened at the house? Have you compiled your family’s history but still have a few unanswered questions you would like answered? These types of questions and subjects will be explored in this class.

You will learn how genealogy and local history are intricately connected. You will also learn about the Southwest Wisconsin Room’s numerous archival resources and how to conduct research using them. Participants are encouraged to bring their historic photographs, research papers, and questions for discussion.

Maximum 15 students—register today. Register early to ensure your spot. Courses with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled one week prior to start date.
