As part of the longest-running national celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading, over 750 schools, libraries, and bookstores will celebrate Children’s Book Week from April 30 to May 6 from coast to coast in all 50 states. This May marks the 99th anniversary of Children’s Book Week.
The theme for this year’s celebration and poster is “One World, Many Stories.” Stop by and see our window display! All of the adorable plush animal toys featured will be given away in a drawing on May 6! Give-a-ways of Safari Hats, Puzzles, Bouncy Balls, Finger Puppets, Bubbles, and Stickers while supplies last.
25 kids will receive a free 2018 Children’s Book Week activity poster designed by Jillian Tamaki, as well as have access online at Every Child a Reader to original bookmarks created by five of today’s most innovative children’s book illustrators, and an original middle-grade “One World, Many Stories” graphic novel.
We are proud to be hosting the following event in celebration of Children’s Book Week: 25% off all regular price books (including special orders!): - Monday Board Books - Tuesday Picture Books - Wednesday Early Readers - Thursday Chapter Books - Friday Young Adult - Saturday Parenting Books
