Join us for the YP Monthly Luncheon held the third Wednesday of each month. Young Professionals of Dubuque (YPD) has a current membership of over 2,000 members, with a monthly participation of over 150 members attending YP Luncheons. YP luncheons feature a presentation on professional, personal or community development.
Our August presenter will be Brannon Dixon, President of Theisen's Home Farm Auto, presenting on "Understanding your Personal Brand in an ever-changing world." As technology changes and the way we do business speeds up how do you grow with the change and brand yourself as a change agent within your organization.
Brannon Dixon was raised in the St. Louis Area as well as Bentonville, AR. He is a graduate of Indiana Weselyan University with a Bachelor?s in Business Administration. Brannon has worked across the country in 11 states anywhere from California to New York and a few states in between. He has 23 years in retail experience; 18 of which were with Walmart Stores Inc. where he held multiple positions in store operations and Information Systems. He has also worked with Party City Holdings, Inc. from 2013-2016. A fast moving company which went public in April 2015. Brannon has been challenged with his recent moves to take his previous experience and adapt and teach it in new companies.
Brannon is an avid reader, reading 40-50 books a year plus magazines and newspapers. He previously served on the Kentucky Derby Festival Board/ Kosair Children?s Hospital Board. And he is now a new member to the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce Board.
